I visited Stone church yesterday and mentioned the name to someone local who was there for the flower festival. She remembered seeing your name in the visitors book. I live near Biddenden, so about 20 minutes away from Stone.

My mother in law thought her grandmother's parents had the name Denniss but I think it is more likely a name that she remembers from other relatives - she thinks there was an uncle Jim Denniss and I do have some pictures of him and his son Pat (we think). My research is limited to internet and census really - when I retire I think I will spend lots of time in county record offices! But that's years away! It means I have not been able to go back too far yet. I think I need to check out some of the links. I am certain that my husbands great grandmother was Elizabeth Ruth Inkpen (took her mothers names as there is no father listed on the birth cert). Is your family tree posted on ancestry.com?

When I have tidied up some details I will contact you again.
