Surnames: Inglis
James Inglis married Ella M. Field, 24 March 1858. I am looking for information on both of these families. James Jr. was a music teacher and owned a stationary and book store with his father in law, Samuel Field, (Field & Inglis) books Y stationary 117 Marin (House) 43 Main. Sam B. Fields 50 music teacher b. New Hampshire

Carrie 24 milliner b. Mass.
Ella Inglis 21 b. Mass.

Geo. W. Fields 18 D__.artist b. Mass.

In 1870, they are still in Paterson, living in their own home with two
live-in domestic servants. Per the census:

Inglis, James 35 music teacher
Ella keeping house

Andrew 9
Roy 4
Mortimer 2
Walter 3mos. [can't be sure this is Walter, could be Natter, I'm
guessing Walter]

McCabe, Bridget 50 Domestic b. Ireland
Cooley, Maria 45 Domestic b. England
Does anyone have more information on these families? I am looking to link my Inglis family to its ancestral origins.
Thank you
