I'm so sorry to bother anyone about this.
However I have been told all of my life by my father that our heritage and name "Inabnitt" was Swedish.
But when I prompted someone to look up Inabnitt and the origin. They returned with "Inabnit" and informed me that it was actually from Switzerland. I am very aware that the two are often confused by folk that don't know much about either place. There are many traits about myself, and my father that favour swedish. So I'm just unsure.
I wanted to take a honeymoon in the place where my family name originated from. To see, and learn more about where my family came from. Any information would be helpful.

Hi! It is Grindelwald, Switzerland. In May, 2001, my husband and I flew to Zurich, took the train to Interlaken, then another (older) train to Grindelwald. It is beautiful and you will really enjoy it!

Thank you!
My father Howard Inabnitt had access to the book at one time, which is where he got "Sweden" from. His father was Pretchel Inabnitt. I have been unable to trace that name in any of the family trees.
I wasn't sure if there was another Inabnit family tree that somehow married a Swede then came over from Sweden. I know of quite a few Inabnit's around, though I did not know them personally.
I certainly appreciate the feedback and will be looking up the places you mentioned. :)
(Sorry if this is a duplicate. I wasn't sure if the first post went through)
