Zach, your grandmother, Annie Lee Smoak, was my great-aunt and sister to my grandmother Martha Lurene Smoak Hunter Parnell. Aunt Lee visited Camden, SC many many times and was a very huge presence in my childhood. My father's name is Robert Burton Hunter and his cousin Judy Wiggs is my "Aunt Judy". My email address is sheahnnc@aol.com if you would like to contact me for more detailed information.

Karen,

I believe we have talked before via email, perhaps?

Thank you for this amazing research. David B. Smith is the direct descendant who gave you much of this Inabinet/family Bible information, correct? Is there a way I can reach him?

My connection is 6.2 Cornelia Dickson. My husband's grandma is a Dixon and descends from Cornelia's brother, Peter. We know Cornelia married an Inabinet before she married William Edmond Childress. But until I found this posting, I had not known her husband's first name. I just want to find proof that this is the same Cornelia Dickson as mine, her parents being Judge Legrande and Sarah Butler. Some records of her marriage to W.E. Childress show her previous name as being Mrs. Deville Inabinet, which I can only surmise was a reading error of Derill.

I wonder if David would know anything of it?

Other online records seem to indicate as much, but no proof by record or testimony.

Any help would be much appreciated!
