Hello Ann, my name is Cathy. My grandfathers name was Sam Conrad Inabinet. Guess what? I live in a small town in S.C. This was my grandfathers hometown. I will get the family book from my mother and be back in touch.

Cathy, hopefully you can help. Looking for info for a cousin. Do you have the parents, grandparents etc. of Peter Lewis Inabinet, b. l8l6 Denmark, S.C. d. after l857, Springfield, S.C. who married March 7 l838 Caroline (carrie) Elizabeth Felder? Any help you might be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.

Have you learned anymore about the Inabinets?
In a previous query I said my Great Grandfather was John Samuel Asberry Inabinet but I have learned since then that his name was James Samuel Asberry Inabinet b 1834 d 1903. Please let me know if you have any information. He was married to Sarah Peak of Alabama. I think his parents might have been Uriah and Barbara Inabinet of South Carolina. He was in the 34th Alabama Infantry Regiment Company C in the Civil War.

Hi Ron, Sorry it took so long for me to write back. We are from a small town in S.C. called Swansea. my grandfather was Sam Conrod Inabinet.

Hello, I just found out that my ggmothers maiden name was Inabinet. Her fathers name was Wesley Nathaniel Inabinet. If you have any information please e-mail me. My family was from Orangeburg S.C.

I know of Swansea, two of the brothers of my wife's GGF Rast moved there in the l850's. A cousin, Thelma Rast lives there.

From LDS records, he was born 24 Aug l834 O/burg, son of Uriah Inabinet b. 20 Aug l8l6 Martha Alyor Townsend b. 21 May l822. Uriah's parents, Samuel Inabinet b. 27 Apr l790 Barbara Elizabeth Townsend b. l2 Dec l792. Samuel's parents, Peter Inabinet Anna Schelegel. Martha Alyor Townsend's parents, Samuel Townsend Effie Ruth Kahn. Barbara Elizabeth Thownsend's parents, Frank Townsend Lucey Parnell.
