Rosalie A. Park, age 71, of LaRue, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at the Marion General Hospital, Marion, Ohio, surrounded by her loved ones.
Rosalie was born on August 11, 1942 in Salem, Ohio, to Wilson D. "Shorty" and F. Joann (Moore) Imbody, both of whom are deceased.
She married Myron A. Park on November 25, 1962 at the New Bloomington United Methodist Church and he survives.
Rosalie is survived by two sons, Darrin (Terina) Park and Arlin (Julie) Park, both of New Bloomington, OH; and a daughter, Natalie (Jason) Morgan of Columbus, Ohio; she also has seven grandchildren, Brandon (Asia) Park, Colt Park, Abbigail (Jeffrey Crawford) Park, Alyson Park, Megan Park, Brianna and Samantha Morgan and great grandson, Kody Park.
Rosalie is also survived by six siblings, James (Peggy) Imbody of Marion, Ohio, Dorothy (Ronald ) Tackett of Green Camp, Ohio, Mary (Robert ) Berridge of Prospect, Ohio, Laura (Mark) Reed of Clarksville, Texas, William Imbody of Green Camp, and John "Boone" Imbody of Green Camp; along with several nieces and nephews.
Rosalie was a homemaker and helped Myron on the family farm, along with working at Whirlpool and Morral Chemical Company, and then in the later years for Home and Health Concepts in Marion.
She was a member for over 50 years of the Meeker United Methodist Church, where she was active with the Women's Circle and the Meeker U.M.C. Women.
Funeral services for Rosalie A. Park will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, Ohio with Kathy Herr officiating.
Burial will follow at Meeker Cemetery.
Visitations will be held on Monday, January 13, from 4;00pm to 8:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
