So glad this is the same family! The parents are the same and they are from Horozanka. I also have a document that lists other children but have not been able to find any other than the 3 we are discussing now.
Emil (my g-grandfather) came to Canada in 1913 and worked for the Canadian Railroad. His paperwork only listed he was going to live with "his brother" in Winnipeg, so I'm not sure to which brother they are referring (Karol?). He left and settled a couple years later in Ontario in Barwick (just over the border from Internation Falls, MN)with his wife and daughter. Emil died in 1926 and his obit listed his sister, a Mrs. Kenal living in Winnipeg.
The other brother I know about is Karol. He had also lived in Winnipeg and married a Janina Motyka and they had a son Edward M. Ilnicki. They settled in Amsterdam, NY where Karol died in 1953. His obit listed "one sister, Mrs. Michalina Kinal, Vancouver Canada"
The info I've gathered from censuses and documents from immigration have listed them as Catholic. I know that Emil and his wife are buried in a Roman Catholic cemetery.
I would love to swap more info with you, please email me! Thanks so much for your response, this is so exciting!
