Re: looking for Ikerd's that are related to me.
My grandmother was Edna Earl Seab. There has been extensive work done on both the Ikerd and Seab sides. I am always looking for more information. My Aunt Elizabeth told me about a Seab McMillin (sp) family reunion that takes place in October but I have not been able to find out any more. Does anyone have any info. about it?

Re: looking for Ikerd's that are related to me.
Edna Earl was my aunt. The McMillan/Davis reunion is every October around the 8th. It is held at Clear Springs out of Roxie, MS. I am the daughter of James C. Seab brother to Edna.

Re: looking for Ikerd's that are related to me.
I know this is a long shot and probably all that know the story and were aware have probably passed on but my mother was born to an Ora Seab on July 24, 1940 (Ora named her Bobbie) and was taken to the Jackson ms childrens village on October 31, 1940 by Ora along side her parents JD and Effie Seab. her adoption was final in June 1941 to her adopted parents in Harrison County MS. I am looking for any information that might shed light on the circumstances surrounding The birth of my mother. I have no information on who the father was since I only have the adoption papers and the fathers name isn't mentioned. Is there anyone that knows the story of Ora's birth to my mom at the age of 19? We have found Ora's obituary and are aware that she married in 1947 to a Benjamin Zacharias. Thank you in advance.
