I am looking for information on the parents of Isaac Plummer Ijams born in 1813 in Anne Arundel County MD. He married a Cecila. The One World Tree gets me quickly into the realm of absurdity as it leads me to William Ijams/Elizabth Cheney and then to King James of Scotland and beyond. If anyone has information on Isaac Plummer Ijams I would appreciate it.
Thank you,
Robert

I have been researching for 35-40 years. I have a data base of 59,898 individuals which include related individuals of the Ijams [Iiams, Imes, Iams] clans. I have made copies of everything that I could find with any of the various spellings. I did this With the help of many others. I have been making sure that the copies I had were listed in my data base and now am destroying these copies.

Harry Wright Newman, Anne Arundel Gentry, 1933 & 1970
1970 edition contains corrections from the 1933 editon.
EB Iams and Ralph Reynolds book, [I am an editor in this book]. Several other authors which I can't remember right now. The data is out there for anyone to look at. However, I do not have my files on the Internet. If you have data that I might be interested in, let me know.

Probably did not answer your question, but if I can help, let me know.

Roberta,

Thank you for the information. You clearly have a lot of experience and familiarity with Ijams family genealogy. I don’t know if I have anything that would be valuable to you, but I do have good information on the descendants of Plumber Austin Ijams and Louise Whitehouse. If you want that information just let me know.

I found one more item. Dorothy A. Ijams was born in February 1910 according to the 1910 census which lists her as 2/12 on April 26th, 1910.

Thanks much. By the way, who is your father and mother and what is the connection to the Ijams?
