I have been trying to find my lost first cousins Ned (especially him) and Gene for over 25 years.. Since I lived in Baltimore then and they near DC I lost touch as a child. After visiting their mom in Kensington a few years after I moved to Arlington, VA... Ned dropped in on my sister for a visit.. but she lost the address and telephone number he left her.. I jus tchecked the SS Death Index.. and Dorothy was born Feb 10, 1910.. Maryland number, last know address in Tacoma Park which is directly down the road (New Hampshure Ave) from Kensington as you head for Washington, DC.. the death date looks right too...
I have been doing Genealogy for over 50 years and have a family database of over 86,500 family and allied family members.. but thsi line was always a total dead end.
Found stuff on the Family Trees that track the Ijams back.. so I see what you mean about how far. There are allegedly links there (spousal) if true.. to other well known famileis in my database back in Mideaval tiems.. eg. the DeNeville / Neville's and the De Beauchamp /Beauchamp's for starters.. possibly the De Cliffords / Cliffords ?? much more dubious in this online ancestry..perhaps...
