Any info about the above. Sailed to US with grandmother in 1920's after being orphaned. Attended Springfield School, somewhere in Pennsylvania for approx. 2 years before returning to UK. Other relations still in US, believed to be connected with steel industry also relations in Florida and Ireland.
Any information would be greatly appreciated, thanks,

thanks for your reply. We think the names on the 1891 census may be related but Norah was born in 1917/8 and George, her brother, was about 2 years older than her. They were born in Sheffield, we don't seem to be able to find their birth registrations. Are you related to the Iggo's?
thanks again Clare x

The Norah listed here is in my family tree. Her father, William is my gggrandfather, his son, Wilfred is my ggrandfather.
My father tells me that my grandfather (another William) had a sister - Norah. However, she apparently died young. I'm getting more details on her soon.
Not sure how relevant this is - but thought I'd share. :)

There is a Norah Iggo born in 1918 in Sheffield Ecclesall Brieley (ref 9c 831 )
Her mothers maiden name was Barber . There is also a George Iggo born in 1916 (ref 9c 987).
I've been through the births registration lists from 1901 to present day but I've yet to compile it .
