Roy A. Ifversen, 66, a resident of Albuquerque since 1970, died Friday, June 5, 1998. He is survived by his wife, Carol of the family home; children, Leo Frechette of Albuquerque, Jeanette Sperduti and husband, John of Las Vegas, NV, Jody Ifversen and wife, Jennifer of Albuquerque, Tracy Blake of Memphis, TN and Allen Blake of Nashville, TN; three grandsons, Shawn and Blake Sperduti and Morgan Ifversen; sister, Alice Shane of Haldon, NJ; brother, Paul Ifversen of South Carolina; father and mother-in-law, Bernard and Fleur-Ange Blake of Miramar, FL; sister-in-law, Mary Blake Bosely of Key Largo, FL; and brother-in-law, Allen Blake of Miramar, FL. Mr. Ifversen was employed for several years with Kohlhaus International, and he was a member of the Danish Brotherhood Lodge in Nutley, NJ. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean conflict. Memorial services will be held Monday, 4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating.
