My (unfortunately soon to be ex) husband is an Ifould. I've always had a fascination with the name because it's so unusual. Having said that there are at least 3 roads in Adelaide, South Australia, that are Ifoulds. My understanding is that the Ifould name was Norman (originally I'fould), and that its English origin is in a town called Lomer. It's a family name here, but don't know much more. There are very few Ifoulds in Australia, and they seem to have split when they came to Adelaide. One was a successful wine maker in the northern suburbs, and the other was a less successful worker in the southern suburbs. Currently one branch still lives around the southern areas and another in the south east of the state, some eight hours from Adelaide

Hi. Im Samantha and I know how you cant contact Jason Ifould considering we live together and have a 9 month old son together. Jasons grandmother is still living but is unfortunately not in the best of health and we all live in McLaren Vale. Jason doesnt see much of his Father Trevor but he also lives here in McLaren Vale.

HI, we was trying to contact Trevor Ifould, hope he might have some old photos, we know Peggy is in a Nursing home now.

Peggy,s mother Annie, was my grandfather,s sister, and I saw that Trevor had a tree on line, but no information about his mother,s side of the family, hope to hear from you again, maybe Jason is interested in the family tree.

Regards Brad.

I know this response is probably a little late, but I guess better late than never. To contact the Ifoulds related to Trevor and Peggy Ifould your best option is to contact the directory service for South Australia. Her son Brian has a listed number in McLaren Vale. Peggy is still living in McLaren Vale but any contact would need to be thru one of her kids. Pretty much any Ifould in the Adelaide directory is related to her, but Brian your best bet :)
