Surnames: Iezza
I just read your post. This is the first time I went on to this site. My grandfather was an Iezza, from San Palo Matese, his sister married a Capra, and lived in Chicago. I think her name was Nicoloa. He had a niece he spoke about often, her name was Adeline Capra I can't remember anyone else's name. He had a brother Pat who settled in Minneapolis, who had 16 children. My grandfather said they changed his name to Yates when he came to this country. My grandfather did tell me there were many people with the name Iezza, in San Palo Matese. My grandfather was born in 1899. He took me to San Palo Matese in 1965. At that time there were about 200 people in the town, we must all be related!!!
