Esther L. (Hatt) Iesue, age 84, of Erie,Pa,daughter of the late Walter and Pearl Reynolds Hatt.
Esther L. (Hatt) Iesue, age 84, of Erie,Pa, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013 at Millcreek Manor. She was born January 29, 1929 in Erie the daughter of the late Walter and Pearl Reynolds Hatt. A lifelong resident of Erie, Esther had worked for many years at the PA Soldiers and Sailors Home in their housekeeping department. She held memberships in the Siebenbuerger Club, Zukor Club, Moniuszko Club, and belonged to the St. Luke's Rosary Society. She was also an avid bingo player and enjoyed following the activities of her family and grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emilio (Mickey) Iesue; a son, Anthony Iesue; a daughter, Marlene Lombardi; her twin sister, Ethelyn (Cho) Cline, a sister, Ruth Ploss and brothers, Russell Hatt and Albert Saltsgiver. Esther is survived by her children; Joseph Iesue and Carolyn of Erie; Angela Bradish and her husband, Arlie of Erie; Geneva (Jay) Weber and her husband, Donald of Erie and Gloria Lombardozzi and her husband, Paul of Charlotte, N.C. She is the sister of Wanda Bennett of New Haven, Conn.; Hilda Leone, of Girard; Norma Dubrock ;Walter Hatt and his wife, Barbara; Walretta Robinson, and Fred Saltsgiver, all of Erie and is the grandmother of Don (Toni) Weber; Christina (Ryan) Erven; Michael and Jennifer Wagner; Angelina (Eric) Levy; Camellia Tatara; Sophia and Alexander Lombardozzi; Stephani Turowsky and Ami Durst. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call at the John J. Quinn Funeral Home, West 9th & Liberty St. Thursday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. & 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend Funeral Services there Friday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
