Philip Kurt Ide, age 47, passed suddenly at home June 23, 2013.
Graduated from Westerville North High School and Fort Hayes Career Center both in 1984.
Attended Columbus State Community College 1985-1987.

Served in the United States Air Force Reserves as a firefighter from 1989-1995.
Phil worked as a logistic inventory control specialist and team lead.
A member of Sports Car Club of America, Ohio Valley Region and participated in local auto racing.
His love of all forms of auto racing took him to develop an online racing league of his own.
He had a great love of all kinds of music and spent many hours listening to it.
He had a wide knowledge of different foods which he enjoyed trying from time to time, along with spending quiet time striving to get a perfect photo with his favorite camera. Preceded in death by his mother, Lois Ann Ide, grandparents Walter and Evelyn Boham, step-grandfather Charles Rhoades, grandparents Julius and Pauline Ide.
Survived by his father, Stephan Ide; sisters, Lori Bunker and Danielle Stanton; nieces, Breanna Bunker, Kyrianne Stanton, Brandi (Bo) Blackburn; and great-nephew, Liam Blackburn; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends Sunday, July 14 from 3-5 p.m. at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville, Ohio where a brief memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. Chaplin John Cramton officiating.

Private interment Saturday, July 13 at Blendon Central Cemetery.
