Good Evening and thank you for your interest and generous offer of assistance. I don't have any information beyond the name of my great grandfather Joaquin Ibarra. However, my grandfather Ricardo Ibarra had siblings by the names of Maria, Lupe, Refugio, Daniel,Demetrio and Jesus. Let me know if you can offer any links or additional information. Feliz Natividad y Prospero Ano Nuevo.

Good Morning Fernando,

Have you made any progress with the books you had previously mentioned? Could you ask your grandfather if he knows my grandfather's family? Many thanks for your time and assistance.

I'm looking for my Mother's family, my Grandmother was from El Fuerte,Sinaloa, my Mother immigrated to the USA sometime around 1917-1920 from El Quemado de Mazatlan or Milpitas,Sinaloa. My problem is I do not know the correct Mexican names of my Mother and her relatives. If any of the following rings a bell, please me. Thanks.
My Mother: MARIA HERIBERTA OR ALBERTA ALVARADO
MAYBE SAME AS: MARIA GALVAN (JUST GUESSING)
She was born in 1904 in LOS MOCHIS,SINALOA.

My Grandmother: FLORENTINA OR JUANA ALVARADO (MARRIED NAME)
MAYBE SAME AS: JUANA VALENZUELA, born in El Fuerte, no date of birth, sometime around 1886.

My Grandfather: MANUEL OR RAFAEL ALVARADO, last contact with him was around 1955 in MILPITAS/EL QUEMADO,SIN.

I was told that my Grandmother died in Los Mochis around 1910, after her death my Grandfather married: ROSENDA ALGONDA FLORES, my Mother had 1 brother JUAN ALVARADO, also born in Los Mochis,Sin.
My Mother crossed the border around 1917-20, at Nogales,AZ, she lived in Riverside/Elsinore,California, where she married Samuel Romero of Santa Fe, New Mexico,USA, my Mother died in San Juan Capistrano/San Clemente,Ca, we lost all contact with her family after a family disagreement around 1955, her family does not know of her death, there is probably no around that remembers her, but I want to know who they were and where they came from. Thanks
Ed Alvarado Romero/Stanton,Ca

Fernando,
Please let me know about you. I am Miguel Ibarra Humphries, grandson of Emilio Ibarra Almada, brother of Canuto Ibarra Almada. Their parents were Canuto Ibarra Verdugo and Luz Almada becerra. This branch of the Ibarra family is from El Fuerte, Luz was from Alamos. I know Canuto Ibarra Almada died in Baja California while he was commissioner of Correos, a post he got most likely due to his uncle Cosme Almada (brother of Luz) who was superintendent of Correos in Mexico City.
