Ibanez from Anguiano, Logrono, Spain
The Ibañez line I'm looking for comes from Anguiano, Logroño, Spain. They emigrated to Cuba and settled in Mariel. My great-great-grandfather, Julian Ibañez Muzga, was from Logroño, as per my great-grandfather's baptismal certificate (1873).

My ancestros come from Anguiano too and some of their children went to Cuba....
We have to ckeck more about the family's name.
I am living in Switzerland and I went to Anguiano last year. It is a wonderful town!!
All the best.

Isabel, Thank you for responding. Do you have particular names from Anguiano? Can we compare names and dates?

Re: Ibanez from Anguiano, Logrono, Spain
Hello, I am not sure if this is relative but I just thought i'd see. I'm trying to find out more about where my dad's family and ancestors come from. My dad and his mother and grandmother came to the US from Cuba. My grandmother's maiden name is Isabel Ibanez and her mother was Isabel Ibanez by marriage But I don't know of her husband or anyone further. Please let me know if this means anything to you. Thank you. Evangelina.

Sorry Angelina. I don't have an Isabel at all in my Ibanez tree.
