Hi. I've seen some messages on here from two of my sons and a cousin. My last name was originally spelled Iannaccone. My father (Carmine) and my uncle (Flaviano aka Frank) had their names changed when they became U.S. Citizens in 1941. My grandfather (Emilio) was married to Antoinette LaSalle. They lived in Avellino, Italy, though I don't know where in Avellino. I was told by my mother in 1964, that the Iannaccone's there are in the Italian gold business. My father and his mother and siblings came over to the U.S. in 1920, on a ship named "Canada". They sailed from Naples to New York. My father was 17 years of age at the time. They settled in the East Orange/Newark areas. My father married Elvira Russo in 1935. I was born in 1936. My parents are gone. I have one sister, Antoinette. She lives in Bloomingdale, NJ. I live in Florida, and have lived here for 48 years. If this helps anybody let me know. Emilio aka Duke Yannacone
