My research found the following announcement of the marriage in Brockwaville, Pa newspaper article dated June 6, 1913: A marriage of considerable interest to the people of this section took place Wednesday of this week at the home of William H. Christ, Dexter City, Ohio, when his daughter, Miss Ruby Jeanette, Christ was united in marriage with Rev. John Ellsworth Iams, pastor of the Brockwayville, M.E. Church...Rev. an Mrs. Iams will come to Brockwayville after a brief wedding trip and will be at home to their friends at the parsonage after June 13th... Rev. Iams has been pastor of the Brockwayville church for several years and he is considered one of the most ifluential and scholoarly preachers in the Erie conference....
