I will have to check my genealogy to get more exact info but working back from my grandfather's info. He would have been born about 1810. My brother did some research and the family probably came from Cornwall. He was a captain of a commercial vessel, the Agamemnon (my grandfather saw the vessel docked in London when he was a youngman. There is a picture in the National Maritime Museum archives). His wife travelled with him, so all the children were born at sea and registered in Stepney. I remember my grandfather telling me that 2 of his uncles emigrated to United States via Canada. My great uncle Noel's daughter, Doris Hyne Beisel made contact with the family many years ago.
