Anna Sztolyar - Hvizsdtsak (Stolar - Hvizdak) married Andras Timko, Feb. 18, 1883, in Hungary. She was from Hardiste, he from Zemplen. Today the villages are in Slovakia.

Anyone have a connection to this family?

Mark,

I'm pretty sure we both come from John and Susan Hvizdak. Was your maternal grandmother Susan Hvizdak (same name as her mother) who was the first of 12 siblings? One of her sisters, Margaret Esther Hvizdak, is the only living sibling and she's my mother. She is 89 and lives in a nursing home in Tucson. She is your great aunt if I'm right about this.

I'm working the John and Susan (Macho) Hvizdak genealogy and I have almost no info about Susan other than the names of her three daughters.

Please let me know if I have the correct person.

Sincerely,

George Whitbeck
