My family owns several copies of a Huycke geneology book that was created several years ago. The book begins when with the first Huycke's to arrive in North America during the 1600's and continues on into the 1990's (it is quite extensive and includes details of records, etc.). The Huycke's who first arrived in North America from the Netherlands had seven or eight children. This book follows the Huycke's as the family tree grew larger and larger. The Huycke's have changed the spelling of the last name approximately 20 times htorughout the course of history in order to make pronunciation easier; so you can imagine how complicated our history gets.
I cannot remember the name of the book nor who published it; however I have asked both my father and grandfather for this information and will post it as soon as I am made aware of it.
Sincerely, JHuycke
