Not an answer to your questions but more to add to the mix about Hux history:
I'm looking for anyone who knows of the family of John and Annie (Tucker) Hux; buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Springvale, Walpole township:
Hux, Annie E., b. 1872, d. 1944
Hux, Christian, d. 28 Oct 1897, 3 m, 16 d, son/o John & Annie Hux
Hux, John, b. 1870, d. 1925
Hux, Roy M., b. 1899, d. 1966, h/o Verna P. Hux (Teal)
Hux, Verna P. (Teal), b. 1903, d. 1995, w/o Roy M. Hux
Annie's religion was 'Hunker', maybe a Quaker offshoot.
The Hux name has German origin.
In 1901 my ancestor was a servant on the farm of this family. I'm trying to find out about the life she led as a child immigrant from England.
