What I have on this is as follows:
Rudolph (also referred to in some instances as Randolph) Hutchinson
b. 1811 in Virginia
d. 04 Dec 1872 in Tennessee
m. 1836 in Hawkins Co, TN to Elizabeth (Eliza) Brownlow Wynn
Father was Benjamin Hutchisson (b. 5 Oct 1765 in New Castle Co. DE, d. 12 Jan 1852 Hawkins Co., TN)
Mother was Margaret Gance (b. 15 Feb 1772)
Benjamin Hutchisson and Margaret Gance were married in 1792 and some other trees indicate that must have been living in Hawkins, TN by that point because it records the births of most of their children as happening in TN, but I'm not sure if that's accurate because it seems clear that Rudolph and Eliza were both born in VA and moved to TN sometime around 1830. There seems to be a fair amount of confusion and mis-information circulating about this line.
There is a book written by an Elmer Hutchisson called "Family of Benjamin Hutchisson, 1765-1852" that I believe would offer the most accurate information about this family, but it doesn't seem to be available digitally. There are copies in the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, as well as the Library of Congress in DC. You can see notes about this book here (this is where I got some of the information I listed above): https://familysearch.org/search/catalog/413187?availability=...
I would appreciate additional information or confirmation of the data I have if anyone else reads this post and has info from other sources.
