George Washington Hutcherson 1785-1857 Moved from Virginia to Alabama in 1837

I am looking for other decendants of George Washington Hutcherson ( maybe spelled Hutchinson ).

B. 1785 Orange County, Virginia
D. 1857 Sumter County, Alabama.
married Elizabeth Lancaster 1785-1855

I understand that he also was a General in the War of 1812 but have yet to substantiate this.
From the "1937 Genealogy document by decendant of Washington Hutchinson" we read that Washington Hutcherson moved, " in a colony of 100 white people and their servants to Mt. Hebron, Ala., where they arrived in Sept., 1837."
