John G. and Charles Huonker were probably related. With a name like Huonker in a small town as Corning they have to be. Charles and Eliz. immigrated the same year. My g.grandmother's first husband was Frank Flasphaler. Their son (my grandfather) was named John Francis Flasphlaer. Frank dies when John is one yr. old and my grandmother marries Charles Huonker. John is raised as John Huonker( we're not sure if legally adopted).
y maiden name is Huonker. I am from Elmira, NY- close to Corning, NY. Where are you?
