I've traced my CT Burbridge line to the Huntington family of Thomas Huntington, Jr, Esquire of Norwich, who lived in CT and married Mary Newport Burbridge of Hartford. Apparently their children lived in Brooklyn, starting with his only known son, Erastus (1808-1891) who married Elizabeth Vanderhoff. They had children Thomas George, Alexander James, Mary Louisa and Elizabeth (married Clarence Andrew Martin). The only surviving grandchildren I can identify for Erastus were the children of Alexander James and his wife Clara Ludwig - Roger and Howard. Thomas' children died before 1900, Mary Louisa never married and I can't find any children for Elizabeth Martin. I can't find any surviving children for Roger and his wife Phyllis Terry. Howard and his wife Meta/Matilda Huneke had 2 in the 1940 Census - James 8 and Dorothy 3, in Brooklyn. I can't find any further records that I can clearly tie to them. Most of these people are buried at Green-Wood Cemetery and I have connected memorials for them on findagrave.com. Would like to find out what became of this line and connect with any family members remaining if possible. Any help would be appreciated.
