My husband is Charles' great grandson (descended from Sydney). There looks to have been a further 2 children born to Charles and Janet in Australia - Sydney and Douglas. I have found a death record for Emma in 1915 in NSW BDM. Henry Atkinson Huntington died 1975, Elizabeth married Albert Longhurst in 1939, Sydney (d.1974) married in 1939 to Doris Catherine Race (d. 2004). I cannot find a marriage record for Douglas and he died in 1980. Charles died 1948 and Janet died 1959. Sydney & Doris had two sons, one died 1972, the other is alive and is my father-in-law.

Do you have any information on the mother of Charles - I believe her name is Emma?

Also, in response to Rose (the original poster), do you have family links to South Australia, any relation to Kate Cocks (first police woman of the British Empire)? If so, there may be a further family link there.
