I am looking for information on Jonathan S Hunt b. abt 1819 in Indiana. He married Elizabeth Cummings, b. 20 Mar 1831 in Ashtabula, Ohio, on 08 Aug 1847 in La Porte, Indiana. I believe he died sometime before 1870 because Elizabeth was remarried on a 1870 Galena, La Porte, Indiana Census. Their children are Elizabeth A Hunt, Thomas B Hunt, John F Hunt, Mary Hunt, Lucinda Pheobe Hunt and Anna Frances Hunt.

I recently found an online tree that has Jonathan S Hunt as the son of James Hunt and Nancy Shotwell. But I also found an online tree that has the son of James Hunt and Nancy Shotwell married Sara Hickman but nothing of Elizabeth Cummings. So I have:

Jonathan S Hunt b. abt 1819 in Indiana, d. bef 1870, m. Elizabeth Cummings on 08 Aug 1847 in La Porte, Indiana.

Jonathan S Hunt b. 07 Sep 1816 in Wayne, Indiana, d. 11 Jul 1863, m. Sara Hickman.

Is there any documentation for or against these Jonathan S Hunts being the same person?
