Can someone offer help about the dates of birth of Augustine and Margaret?

Margaret had been married and widowed twice and had three children when she married Augustine Hunnicutt Jr. I found a reference in Surry County Records for year 1680 that Augustine was obligated to Elizabeth, orphan of John Cooper, for her portion of her father's estate, valued at 40,000 lbs of tobacco.

Augustine's date of birth is always given as 1664. But it seems to me that a woman of means such as Margaret would want to marry a man able to manage and protect her children and worldly assets, and not marry a boy of only 16 years.

In theory Augustine Jr. is brother to John, b abt 1650, but his dob has been given as evidence for speculation that they had different mothers.

It seems reasonable to me that Augustine Jr. must have been much closer in age to John and born about 1654.

Margaret has also been dated to 1664, but surely to be on her 3rd marriage and with 3 children she must have been older than 16!

Does anyone have actual documentation? Or are we all guestimating?
