Hi, Marilynn -

I have not found any connections between my Hunnicutts and Whites. But FYI, Hunnicutts were in Jamestowne Virginia before 1650. They are most common in the Carolinas and the rest of the south, includiing Texas.

But a few (my line) spread into Ohio in the early 1800s and by 1850 headed west to Iowa, Nebraska and beyond. Many Hunnicutts were of the Quaker faith from the late 1600s up to the mid 1800s. Hinshaw's Enclyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy was a good source for me.

You would probably get more responses if you can give the place and approximate dates for Narcissa Hunnicutt and Andrew White.

Good luck!

Laura Hunnicutt Gardner
