I am not sure if I got back to you are not. I haven't worked on my Humphries side in a while. But here is what I have on William Humphries b. 8-11-1794. His father was John Humphries b. 1768 in King George County Virginia, John married Francis Ellis. I have only found one child listed for them so far. William Humphries b. 8-11-1794 in NC. d. 1873 in Cleveland County North Carolina. He married Elizabeth McCraw b. abt. 1775 in North Carolina d.? she was the daughter of Benjamin Albind McCraw b. 1740.

1. Jesse James Humphries b. 5-13-1834 Cleveland County North Carolina d. august 1888 rush, tx. He married Margaret Terry Foote b. 11-1829 in Atlanta GA. d. 1913 rush tx. She was the d/o George Washington Foote b. 1785 Chester County South Carolina & Elizabeth Scaife b. 1798 Chester County South Carolina.
Child of Jesse & Margaret Humphries
1. Margaret Cornelious Humphries b. 5-24-1871 d. 4-16-1956 Hollis, Harmon County OK. buried Dryden Cem. Harmon OK.
She married Rev. William Levi Nelson b. 9-24-1867 d. 2-8-1947 Harmon OK buried in same cem. He was the son of William M. Nelson b. 1831 & Emily Rowell b. 1832 Alabama.
Child of Margaret and William Nelson:
1. Odie Cornelious Nelson b. 2-14-1894 Henderson TX.
d. 10-14-1983 Hollis, Harmon OK. She married John Thomas Whorton b. 1-18-1893 Tx. d. 1-2-1962 Hollis, Harmon, OK.
He was the son of John W. Whorton b. 1851 KY. & Lucy A. Dooley b. 1861 Tx.
