I have tried to reach the person I knew who was tracking this line. We'll see if he responds. Anyway, from some old correspondence I get the idea that this descendant of J.J. Humphries had Y-DNA that matched a man who thought he was a descendant of Joseph Humphries and Elizabeth Tignor of Northumberland Co., VA. But I don't think anyone had yet worked out where J.J. Humphries fit into that family. That was a year or two ago. Maybe someone knows more now. I will let you know if my correspondent replies to a query. Charlene
