I know this is very old, but my family records have a John T. Hullinger as the adopted son of Benjamin John Hopkins and his wife Margaret Ann (Holland) Hopkins. I do not know the source of the records. Margaret Hopkins is my Great Aunt. She and her husband operated a funeral home in Zion, Illinois.

I am trying to find info on last name Hulliger. I am looking for information on a Jakob Hulliger born 1815 in Bern Switzerland, married a Anna Schurch. Had two children Maria Hulliger and Johann Hulliger. I wasn't sure if anyone may have similar information but under another last name such as Hullinger or Holliger. Any help would be appreciated.

my grandfather was William Hullinger from Ohio and moved to Iowa in 1850 by covered wagon settled in Dewitt Iowa .My father Dr John Dudley Hullinger was born in 1860 in Dewitt, I John Hulinger Jr. was born in Clinton Iowa in 1953 ,my father was 93 years old when i was born my mother was 34 my father was the oldest father and oldest doctor recorded. Christian b. abt 1734 Germany d. 1802 PA was a great + grandfather and connected to the names on this page
Harvey Hullinger 1850s was a Mormon officer and the LDS has a detailed family record

I am looking for any information on Otto Hullinger. Aka's include Acy and Oso.
Birth: 16 Sep 1889 in Marion, Grant Co., IN
Died: believed to be in Marion, Grant Co., Indiana possibly in 1952. (There is an Acy Otto Hullinger that died at this time buried in IOOF.)

Wife at time of death was Viola Hullinger.

Any information or if someone is willing to look up the obit for Acy please contact me. This is my great great grandfather and I have been at a brick wall for several years.

Marylin J. Earhart

GALION: Marylin J. Earhart, 81, of Galion, Ohio died unexpectedly Friday, July 15, 2011 at Galion Community Hospital Emergency Room.
Born April, 30, 1930 in Sandusky, Ohio (Erie County) she was the daughter of the late Russell and Ruth (Mayers) Hullinger.

She married William V. Earhart, Sr. on Feb. 19, 1950 who survives.

Marylin was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School.

First employed at Barnes Pumps in Mansfield, Marylin later worked as a receptionist for Columbia Gas and then for Grace Brethren Church in Mansfield.

In addition to her husband of 61 years, she is also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William V., Jr. and Sarah Earhart and Charles S. and Gwen Earhart, all of Galion; seven grandchildren, Lisa, Kyle, Natalie, Lucas, Victor, Abbi and Erika; six great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Jeanne Hullinger of Galion and a sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Coy Turner of Dayton, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Crane and Valeria Caffey and a brother, Russell Hullinger.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2011 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home in Galion where a funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2011
Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association , 5455 N. High St., Columbus, Ohio 43214. An online obituary and guest registry are available at www.richardsondavis.com.

HULLINGER Lewis Coulter Hullinger, October 17, 1921 - May 16, 2011.
Mr. Hullinger, a retired chemical engineer from Owens Corning Technical Center after 30 years of service, died Monday, May 16, 2011 at the Selma Markowitz Center in Newark, Ohio (Licking County).

He was born October 17, 1921 in Newark, New Jersey to the late Ora M. and Dorothy (Coulter) Hullinger.
Lewis proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII.

He received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Ohio State in 1948, and was a member of Theta Tau fraternity and Tau Beta Pi engineering honorary.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Granville, Land of Legend Barbershop Chorus, Granville Music Club, Licking County Bicycle Club, Newark Kiwanis Club, and Ohio State University Alumni Association.
A longtime avid bicyclist, Lew was a founding member of the Licking Wheelmen.

Surviving are his wife of 6 years, Elizabeth "Betty" (Lovejoy) Hullinger of Granville; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Beth Ann Hullinger of Dublin, Ohio; granddaughter, Heidi Hullinger Martin, M.D. and her husband, Jim Martin of New York City; step-children, James and Victoria Apollonio of Salem, Oregon, Steven and Sallie Apollonio of Wisasset, Maine, and Dr. Carol Apollonio of Durham, North Carolina; three step-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Barbara and John Wesley Wallace of Hackettstown, New Jersey, and Mary Polom of Wilbraham, Massachusetts.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife Marguerite (McNulty) Hullinger and one brother David P. Hullinger.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Tuesday at the McPEEK-HOEKSTRA FUNERAL HOME, 133 S. Prospect St., Granville.

I am a decendant of the Hullingers from which came John (1795-1836)...Son Dr. Harvey Coe Hullinger(1824-1926).

My father is Jackie Lee Hullinger (1949-Present)
Gfather: Walter Theodore Hullinger (1914-1987)
GGfather: Lester (1889-1944)
GGGfather: Winfield Scott (1854-1934)
GGGGfather: John C. (1816-1885),here is where it gets kinda dicey for me. I have done extensive research and would gladly trade/share information with anyone regarding this line. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Russell Lester Hullinger is the son of Albert D Hullinger and Effie Viera, born Dec 3, 1896 in Beardstown, Cass County, Illinois. His father Albert was born in 1871 in Beardstown, died of emphezema Mar 12, 1900 in Beardstown.

Albert was a son of George W D Hullinger, born 25 Oct 1834 in Ohio, died 14 Nov 1883 in Versailles, Brown County, Illinois. And, Elizabeth Wilson, born 1843 in Indiana, died of consumption on 7 Nov 1884 in Versailles.

I just received information that George W D's parents are John Hullinger born 1805 in Maytown, Lancaster, PA; mother Ann born 1810. I have not researched this information yet.

Elizabeth Wilson's parents are George N Wilson born 1819 in Marion, Shelby, Indiana and Clarissa Wood born in 1822 in PA. George N Wilson's parents are James W Wilson and Nancy McCarty. Hope this helps. Harriet

It appears you are descendant of Abraham (1801-73), Levi (1851-1923), then Horace Wadsworth (1874) Hullinger. If so, you are related to Bruce Lee Cook, son of Levi's granddaughter, Florencetta Bailey. If interersted, I can give you more info. Robert N. Hullinger

Hi I'm looking for some long lost cousins, Rikki Marie and Krista Hullinger. The last names may have been changed through a marriage or divorce of their mother. Mother is Vonda (Hullinger) but unsure of new last name. Father was Rick Joseph Hullinger. They lived in Charleston, WV area when Rick and Vonda were married. When they divorced Rick stayed around Charleston, WV but then moved to Phoenix, AZ and worked as a corrections officer but has since passed away. I also descend from John Hullinger and Olive Coe by their son Dr. Harvey Coe. He went west and settled in the Uintah Basin in Utah. You have thousands of cousins throughout the state and the mountain west. Go to familysearch.org (This is a free site provided by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.) Click on the heading 'Search for ancestors in our vast records collection" Type in John Hullinger and for spouse type Olive Coe and hit search. John Hullinger appears above a solid line. Click on his name. Look to the left and click on the word pedigree. There is the line back to Egliswil, Switwerland (near Zurich.) You can repeat these steps for any of your deceased ancestors. Anna Catherine Hullinger

Any information on Anna Catherine Hullinger.

She married Robert Oren Bolton. I believe both were born in Iowa. They are both buried on Nebraska. Anna in Arlington, Nebraska and Robert In Blair, Nebraska.. They had 2 childeren. I am concerned about Anna and her family. I believe she had a brother named Joseph, who is also buried in Arlington, Nebraska. Any info would be great.

I see your 2001 post on Ancestry.com

I am interested in this line as well. I am supposedly related through Jacob Hullinger (who was one of the children of Daniel and Ann Shockey. From Jacob it goes through Edward Daniel, and then to Elnora. I can prove my line from me to Edward Daniel Hullinger but I have not located hard evidence past that. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I realize your post is severl years old, but I am hopeful you or someone else will reply. I supposedly come from this line of Hullingers. I am having difficulty finding "proof." Do you have any records that help prove the line? Do you have any hints to direct me toward finding the "proof"?
