On 22 Oct 1848, at St Mark's church in the parish of Armagh, Jane HUGGINS m. Jacob ANDERSON. Both were of full age and single. Jacob was a gardener and resident at Mullabrannan; his father was Alexander Anderson, a farmer. Jane lived at Armagh, and her father was John Huggins, also a farmer. Witnesses included Alex Anderson and Thomas Scott.
I cannot place Jane's father, John HUGGINS, within the HUGGINS family of Caledon, Dungannon, Clonfeacle, etc.
Looks like I have a stray John HUGGINS. He's almost certainly not the same John HUGGINS who took out a marriage license in 1838, with Anne ROBINSON [Dioces of Armagh prerogative marriage licenses].
And I doubt he's the same John HUGGINS who was born on 8 August 1811, parents Samuel C. & Mary Huggins, and christened at Dungannon Presbyterian church.
Can anyone help identify this stray John HUGGINS?
