HELP. Never knew there were so many people with the name Huffman living in Canada before Confederation. I recently discovered one of my great great great grandmothers was a Huffman. Born around 1811 I Believe. Possibly in Brant, or Huron , middlesex Co. On. Canada. Believe she was married around 1830-1840. Her name was Susanna Huffman, she married a John Bastard, not sure if he was from On. or born elsewhere. he seems to be born around 1804. They had a daughter Mary Ann b. 1841 Huron Co. on. She married a William John Gower in 1863. He was born in On. Huron Co. 1836-1837.So many given names are the same in various famiies, believe she is possibly of UEL descent in Brant Co. Any assistance would be appreciated if someone has her in their tree.
