YOUNGSTOWN – Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 9:15 a.m. at the Kubina-Yuhasz-Wasko Funeral Home in Boardman, Ohio, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Christine Catholic Church for Margaret A. Hudak, 85, who passed away peacefully Friday evening, Oct. 17, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Health Center after a two-month illness.
Margaret was born July 28, 1929, in Youngstown, Ohio, the youngest daughter of the late John and Sarah Vogrin Liktar.
She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Youngstown, Ohio.
Margaret married the love of her life, Stephen R. Hudak Sr., on May 8, 1948.
They were blessed with five children.
They were members of St. Christine Catholic Church for more than 65 years.
Anyone who knew “Margie” knew she was most proud of her family, which consisted of Margie (Joseph) Graf, Kathy (Bruce) Howell, Mary (Jim) Centofante, Steve (Joan) Hudak and John Hudak. Margie and Steve have 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Margaret was preceded in death by her two sisters, Maryann Liktar Tkach and Caroline Liktar Timmins.
The Hudak family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Kubina-Yuhasz-Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
