Hi all Howlett seekers. I am working on the tree of Rebecca's 4th generation grand-daughter (all female line). My friend that will remain nameless as she is alive has agreed to let me help her. All of my information is from/for her. If you do borrow items from me (which I am happy to share) then please share with me.
Rebecca Howlett (Howlett was the name of her slave owner...a doctor that had given Rebecca and her children, some family and other slaves to Thomas Howlett. We do not know how many children Rebecca had by the doctor or Thomas. Rebecca was later listed as married in the 1900 census but no husband or man was living with her and her daughter.
Rebecca was listed in in 1900 census as having 10 children total and 8 were living as of 11-12 Jun 1900.
