John Howe, in Juniata Co, Pa. in 1840

I am looking for any information about John Howe, who was listed in the 1840 census in Milford Township, Juniata County, Pa. He was married to Hannah North, and had 7 known children. I believe that he may have been the same as the John Howe in the 1830 census in Buffalo Township, Perry County, listed along with Edward Howe, Abraham Howe, and William Howe. Abraham may have been the father, or the oldest of a group of brothers.
By 1850 John was dead, and Hannah was the head of household in the census, with two of the children still living there.
Howe Township, Juniata County, was apparently named for William Howe, an early settler.
Anybody know anything about these central Pa. Howes?
