Im from Cherryvale Kansas; my father is
Michael A. Housel; son of Theodore and Pauline
Housel. He's the youngest of seven; with a
21 year spread between the oldest and the
youngest. All of his brothers and sisters grew
up in Cherryvale and most still live there; as
do thier children,etc. I know there have been
searches about our family and lots of info.
found but not shared. I know my father has cousins
as near as Independence Ks.; but Ive never met
any of them. I know my grandfather, "Ted" had a
brother named Dick, who also lived in Cherryvale.
But thats about all I know. I know we have
some indian hertitage and would like to know
more. I read all of your messages and you all
seem so far away, in other searches I did notice
that there were many "Housel's" in the east.
Do any of you have ties to Kansas?
