Look for book Hosford Geneaolgy by Norman F. & David H. Hosfrod, Phoenix Publishing, West Kennebunk, Maine-1993 Pgs 86 to 87 for John and for Russell pgs 136 & 137. Russell's father John never married Russell mother Parna Maria Hibbard. In the book it says "before his maraiage to Lydia, john had a son Rusell by parna Maria Hibbard in 1808. John and Parna were not married. parna later married in 1813 at Canaan, NH to a Ralph Bicknell by whom she had eleven children." It has John married to a Lydia Perkins on Feb. 9, 1809 in Thetford, Vermont. she was born Feb. 2, 1782 and died jan. 17, 1836 in Vermont.
