I am looking for information on Mary Elizabeth Horton, b. abt 1886 in the Mobile county area of Alabama, daughter of John William Horton and Missouri Elizabeth Harvey. Mary was first married to Thomas Neese (1879-bef 1910), s/o Dorus "Elmore" Neese and Mary Sarah Pierce. They had a son named John Monroe Neese (1905-1972). Thomas was killed sometime after John's birth, but before 1910, when Mary and John are listed in her father's household. John is listed in his grandfather's household in 1920, but not his mother. I am wondering what became of her. Did she die before 1920, or perhaps remarry and is listed in 1920 and perhaps afterwards in 1930 with her new husband and a new family somewhere?
