Thank you for persistence in contacting me Susan! I did not see your earlier reply and am so happy to communicate with you further re our common ancestry. Rick remembers his mother saying that Enoch immigrated to USA with the intention of continuing on to Alberta for work in the coal mining industry. His stop in Pennsylvania was to be temporary , staying with a relative who might possibly have been a great aunt. Unfortunately Enoch became ill and as a consequence of his illness did not have money to continue his journey. We always understood that he had to return to work in Pa. Once his health improved. Harriet spoke about their poverty during these years. We think the was also a relative in Alberta with whom Enoch had contact and would help the family settle there. Harriet now suffers from effects of a stroke and has limited memory now. I read you had an old photo of George and Mary Ann and wonder if you could attach to an email for us at
rickrobinson55@hotmail.com. So anxious to hear from you again! Sharon
