I can obtain copies of John William Horgan's RIC Service Records. He was born in Co. Limerick in 1846, joined the RIC in 1865 and married in 1876. He had another son, William Dominic Horgan, born in Co. Sligo in 1877. You can contact me at j_herlihy@esatclear.ie
