Doesn't sound like the same person. My uncle Benjamin married Sylvia Ellis and moved to Michigan. They had a son, Lucius Ellis, and Sylvia died in childbirth. Benjamin returned to Madison County NY and married Julia Blakeman. They had 5 children and Benjamin died 24 Sept 1890 in NY.
