Not sure I have a connection, but I have Hoovens in Luzerne Co. from at least 1850 until 1860. I'm trying to find out where my Hoovens came from and I am not sure if their name was Hoover or Hooven. I'm reaserching Jacob Hooven born 1797, but I don't know where. He died sometime between 1850 and 1860 but I can find no record of either his birth, death or immigration records. Let me know if you have anything.
