I don't know much about my Hoovens except that they lived in Northumberland and Schuylkill Counties PA. I don't know if that is where they are from originally. There was a Margaret, John, another Margaret and Rebecca. Rebecca Hooven was my great grandmother She was married to Shipp and then to Grove. She died 1903 and was born 1838. I thought they went as Hoover, but records clearly indicate the name was Hooven.
