I think my family must be related to Fred Hooson of Flixton, my Grandfather was James Hooson married to Elizabeth Jones, my father was John Albert Hooson (1920 to 1997) who had 3 brothers Frank, James and Eric and 1 sister Margaret. They lived in Brighton Avenue Flixton before moving to Goldsworthy Avenue Flixton, although my father spoke about a house called Wibersley which may have been earlier. He also spoke about a relative, maybe an uncle who moved to the states.
