my g g grandfather was John Hooson.He was a train driver in Shrewsbury,England.Born about 1848 he married Elizabeth and had 3 boys and 3 girls:John Lloyd,Elizabeth,Alice,Alfred,Florence and Cecil.Believe they moved to Newcastle area where the son John Lloyd married Ethel Agnes Welsh on Aug 1914.Several days later he volunteered for the Great war and joined the 1st Northumberland Fusiliers.Still trying to piece together.Any more info sought.cya
